After an exhaustive search, Robert Hilton of the law firm Hilton Estate & Elder Law announces that John Maine has joined the practice. Born in 1990, John grew up in Waterville, New York, and graduated from Waterville Senior High School in 2008 with an Advanced Regents Diploma. In 2014 Maine graduated from Binghamton University with a BA degree and he received his Juris Doctorate Degree and graduated magna cum laude from Albany Law School 2016.
John was admitted to the New York State Bar and began his legal career in 2017 as an Assistant District Attorney in the Trial Division of the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. As an ADA in the Bronx, he prosecuted hundreds of cases ranging from multi-month auto-stripping schemes to attempted homicides. During his nearly five years as a prosecutor, John participated in countless hearings, grand jury investigations, and gained first and second chair trial experience. He aspires to focus on Estate Planning and Elder Law because of his desire to help individuals and families make future plans and protect their assets.
John is a proud husband and father who resides with his family in Waterville, New York. In his spare time, he enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with his family and friends.
